On Blitzen, safety and the comfort of our guests is our primary concern. Follow a few simple suggestions to assure that you experience maximum enjoyment on your fishing adventure.
- Bring foul weather gear. Something warm, especially if you're going out at night or early in the morning. New England weather can be chilly and sometimes windy.
- Bring sunblock for hot sunny days. Ocean breezes can fool you. The sun can be relentless and burn you, even on cool days.
- If any guests have little ocean experience and might get seasick, we recommend taking a Bonine or Dramamine pill an hour before departure to avoid seasickness.
- Bring adequate food and drink for your party; enough for the entire trip.
- Alcohol is allowed —Beer only. No hard liquor. In the best interests of safety for guests, crew and boat, overindulgence will not be tolerated. Any sign of the situation getting out of control will warrant an immediate return to the dock — no refund.
- All bait and fishing gear will be provided. Blitzen is fully equipped with enough rods and reels for everyone.
